Oyo Assembly exiles LG Chairman

Irepo Local Government Chairman, Hon., has been placed on administrative leave by members of the Oyo State House of Assembly. Sulaiman Lateef Adeniran.

During Tuesday's plenary, the lawmakers made the choice.

The Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, was given a mandate by the lawmakers, according to House of Assembly Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin. Joel will assume responsibility for managing the council's operations.

Up until the conclusion of the committee formed to look into the accusations made against the council chairman, the vice chairman will preside.
