Unidentified gunmen fatally attack couple in Anambra, depositing their bodies in the trunk of a vehicle (Graphic Image).

 

Unidentified gunmen have allegedly killed a couple, placing their lifeless bodies in the trunk of a Toyota Camry (registration number: EE-621-EU). 

Discovered by passersby along Tempo Junction, Umunya on the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, the victims' corpses were visibly fresh with blood underneath the vehicle, indicating recent violence. 

A circulating video on social media depicts onlookers inspecting the dark-colored Toyota Corolla with open doors and the bodies in the boot. 

Anambra State Police Command's Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the incident, stating that police from Oyi Division recovered the bodies and the vehicle, initiating investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
