Cote D’Ivoire secured a spot in this stage as one of the best third-placed teams, thanks to Morocco's 1-0 victory over Zambia and DR Congo's goalless draw against Tanzania on Wednesday night. 

Cote D’Ivoire is set to face the current champions, Senegal, in the Round of 16.
