LaLiga club extends a message to Super Eagles goalkeeper, Nwabali, during AFCON.

Cádiz, the Spanish La Liga club, has conveyed a message wishing Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali a speedy recovery ahead of Nigeria's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) round of 16 clash with Angola. 

Cádiz praised Nwabali for his outstanding performances in the AFCON, referring to the Chippa United star as the 'GOAT.'

 Nwabali, selected as the first-choice goalkeeper by Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro at the beginning of the tournament, suffered an injury during Nigeria's AFCON round of 16 victory against Cameroon. 

Cádiz Club de Fútbol's official account in Nigeria tweeted their support for Nwabali's swift recovery for the upcoming AFCON round.
