Robbie Fowler Urges Liverpool to Sign Alexander Isak
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has called on his former club to pursue Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, comparing the Swedish striker to Sadio Mane.
Fowler believes Isak would be a great signing for Liverpool, stating that the 24-year-old "reminds me of Mane" in terms of his playing style and impact.
The former striker also mentioned Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins as another Premier League forward he would "genuinely like" to see at Anfield, as Liverpool look to fill the void left by Mane's departure.
Isak, who joined Newcastle in a club-record £63 million deal last summer, has scored 19 goals in the Premier League this season. Fowler believes his combination of pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability make him an ideal fit for Liverpool's attacking system.
With Jurgen Klopp's departure and the appointment of Slot as the club's new head coach, Fowler feels it's the perfect time for Liverpool to bring in a player like Isak to help lead their attack in the coming seasons.
