Teenage Sensation Yamal Inspires Spain to Euro 2024 Final

Spain have defeated France 2-1 in the Euro 2024 semi-final to qualify for the final in Berlin. 16-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal scored a stunning 25-meter goal to equalize for Spain in the 21st minute after France had taken an early lead through Randal Kolo-Muani. Dani Olmo then put Spain ahead in the 25th minute with a deflected strike to complete the comeback.

Spain held on comfortably in the second half to secure their spot in the final, where they will be favorites to win a record-extending 4th European Championship title. Yamal's goal made him the youngest ever scorer in European Championship history at 16 years and 362 days, breaking the previous record held by Johan Vonlanthen.

France's defeat marked the end of N'Golo Kanté's incredible 64-match unbeaten run for France in major tournaments. Didier Deschamps' side struggled to play vertically and failed to live up to expectations, scoring just one goal from open play in the entire tournament.

Spain's victory equaled Germany's record of 5 European Championship final appearances, and was their 6th consecutive win of the tournament, a new record. Luis de la Fuente's team will now await the winner of Wednesday's semi-final between England and the Netherlands in Dortmund
