Transfer Deadline Day: Al-Ahli Finalizes £40 Million Deal for Ivan Toney

Al-Ahli has reached a total agreement with Brentford for the transfer of striker Ivan Toney for £40 million ($53 million). The 28-year-old has accepted a lucrative three-year contract with the Saudi club and is set to undergo a medical examination soon. 

Toney, who has less than a year remaining on his contract with Brentford, has been a key player for the team, scoring 72 goals in 141 appearances. Brentford's manager, Thomas Frank, confirmed that Toney would not be included in the squad for the upcoming match against Southampton, indicating that the deal is imminent and that the club is preparing for his departure.
