Court Affirms Baruwa as NURTW President, Sacks MC Oluomo After Just Six Days

 

In a decisive ruling, the Court of Appeal in Abuja has removed Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, from his position as National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), just six days after his inauguration. 

The court upheld the earlier judgment recognizing Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the legitimate president, dismissing the appeal by Oluomo's faction as lacking merit and awarding costs against them124. Baruwa condemned Oluomo's actions as a violation of judicial authority
