Lookman Absent from Super Eagles Training Ahead of Rwanda Match

Ademola Lookman missed training with the Super Eagles on Saturday as they prepared for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda. 

The Atalanta forward sustained a knock during the team's recent 1-1 draw against Benin Republic, leading to his substitution late in the game.

His fitness will be evaluated in the final training session on Sunday. Additionally, defender Ola Aina has been released from camp due to an injury, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali left following a family bereavement. The Super Eagles are set to host Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Monday.
