This announcement follows reports of a fallout between Kiddwaya and his fiancée, Laura, a Caucasian woman, after he admitted to kissing fellow reality star Mercy Eke during the 2023 Big Brother Naija All Stars season. The revelation led Laura to unfollow him on Instagram, sparking speculation about the state of their relationship. 

Despite the controversy, Kiddwaya expressed optimism after his eviction from the show, stating his belief that his fiancée would "come around." However, it remains unclear whether the couple reconciled after the incident.
