Afenifere Urges South-West Governors to Strengthen Security Amid Banditry Concerns

Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization, has called on South-West governors to enhance security measures in response to the alarming influx of bandits into the region.

 This plea follows warnings from Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde about increasing bandit activities. Afenifere emphasized the need for a collaborative approach among governors to develop strategies aimed at expelling bandits and ensuring the safety of citizens. 

The organization has urged immediate action to address this pressing security issue and protect lives and property in the South-West states.
