El-Rufai holds ‘strategic meeting’ with Al-Mustapha, SDP Chairman Gabam, PDP’s Segun Sowunmi

 

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai held a strategic meeting with Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chairman Shehu Gabam, and Segun Sowunmi of the PDP on January 7, 2025. 

The meeting, conducted behind closed doors at the SDP national secretariat in Abuja, aimed to review opposition strategies in Nigeria. 

This gathering follows El-Rufai's recent denial of defection rumors from the APC to the PDP, emphasizing his commitment to the ruling party while exploring collaborative efforts with opposition figures ahead of the 2027 elections.
