LP National Chairman Crisis: Appeal Court Never Removed Abure, Says Edun

 

Labour Party Legal Adviser Kehinde Edun has clarified that the Appeal Court never removed Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party. 

This statement follows recent legal developments where the Court of Appeal reaffirmed Abure's position as chairman, upholding its earlier judgment from November 13, 2024.

 The court struck out a Federal High Court judgment that lacked jurisdiction, thereby maintaining Abure's legitimacy as chairman. 

Edun's comments aim to clarify the legal status of Abure's leadership amid ongoing party disputes.
