Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has expressed regret over his comments that his team might be the worst in the club's history. 

Amorim made these remarks after a 3-1 home loss to Brighton, stating that he was frustrated and pointing the blame at himself rather than his players. 

He acknowledged that his words were meant to convey urgency for change but admitted they were poorly phrased.
