Now Open: Apply for the AmplifyChange 2025 Opportunity Grant
The AmplifyChange Opportunity Grant 2025 is now open for applications, offering a unique chance for civil society organizations to secure funding to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) across the globe. This initiative is particularly targeted at small and emerging organizations that are passionate about driving change within their communities.
About the Opportunity Grant
The Opportunity Grant is designed to support short-term, innovative projects that aim to catalyze change in the field of SRHR. With funding of up to EUR 75,000 per project, AmplifyChange encourages proposals that demonstrate bold ideas, community-driven approaches, and the potential for high impact.
Grants are typically awarded for projects lasting between 6 to 24 months. The aim is to empower grassroots movements and smaller organizations, especially in low- and middle-income countries, to build their capacity, amplify their voices, and initiate systemic change on issues that are often underfunded or neglected.
Key Thematic Areas
Applicants are expected to align their projects with at least one of AmplifyChange’s five strategic priority areas:
-
Gender-based violence – Challenging harmful norms and addressing systemic violence against women and girls.
-
Abortion rights – Promoting safe and legal access to abortion services.
-
Youth SRHR – Ensuring young people have access to information and services related to sexual and reproductive health.
-
LGBTIQ+ rights – Defending and promoting the rights of marginalized sexual and gender minorities.
-
Access to contraception – Expanding availability and use of modern contraceptive methods.
Who Can Apply?
The grant is open to civil society organizations that meet the following criteria:
-
Are registered and operational in eligible low- and middle-income countries.
-
Have limited access to international funding.
-
Are working at grassroots, community, or national levels to improve SRHR.
Organizations with a strong community presence, especially those led by or representing marginalized groups (e.g., youth, women, persons with disabilities, or LGBTQI+ individuals), are strongly encouraged to apply.
Application Process and Deadline
Applications must be submitted through the AmplifyChange online portal. The process includes a concept note followed by a full proposal for shortlisted applicants. Interested organizations should carefully review the eligibility criteria and guidance notes available on the AmplifyChange website.
Deadline: The deadline for submission of concept notes is typically within six to eight weeks of the call’s launch. Interested applicants are advised to monitor the official website regularly for updates.
Why Apply?
The Opportunity Grant offers more than just financial support. Grantees gain access to a network of like-minded organizations, technical assistance, and learning opportunities that can elevate their impact and sustainability.
For grassroots organizations with powerful ideas but limited resources, this grant is an opportunity to bring transformative change to communities and advance SRHR where it matters most.
