NELFUND Extends Student Loan Application Deadline to February 27

 

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has extended the deadline for student loan applications to February 27, offering prospective beneficiaries additional time to complete their submissions.

The extension, according to the Fund, is aimed at accommodating students who were unable to meet the initial deadline due to documentation challenges and technical delays experienced during the application process.

NELFUND encouraged eligible students across tertiary institutions nationwide to take advantage of the extended period to finalise their applications, ensure accurate information, and upload all required documents.

The Fund reiterated that applications should be completed only through its official portal and advised students to disregard unofficial platforms or agents claiming to offer assistance.

NELFUND also assured applicants that steps have been taken to improve system efficiency and enhance user experience as the new deadline approaches.

Students have been urged to seek clarification through official NELFUND communication channels and avoid last-minute submissions to prevent errors.
