Buhari guides all Ministers to continue to work until May 29

 All ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari's cabinet have been instructed to continue until May 29, when President-elect Bola Tinubu will take office.

Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, confirmed this on Wednesday.

Mohammed also made the observation that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has not been abolished.

Talking with state house journalists, he said: " I simply wish to clarify this point. Lai stated, "There was a false breaking news that the federal executive council has been dissolved while we were at the chambers, which is not correct."

“In point of fact, the president has instructed us all to return to our offices. Therefore, the assertion that the federal executive council has been disbanded is incorrect; it is still very much alive.

"All of us have been instructed to return to our offices and ensure that we continue working until the 29th of May." So kindly overlook the phony news."
