After being rumored to be interested in the Columbian midfielder for some time, Chelsea have finally made contact with Brighton & Hove Albion. As per Football Insider, the south coast club's valued resource would be given up for around £70m in addition to £10m in additional items. Despite Chelsea's unwillingness to match Caicedo's £100 million midseason asking price, the increased flexibility may indicate that a summer move to west London is in the cards.
