Nollywood Veteran Ayo Mogaji Shares Inspiring Story of Becoming a Mother at 40 with One Fallopian Tube

Veteran Nollywood actress Binta Ayo Mogaji, popularly known as Mama Insurance, has opened up about her inspiring journey to motherhood at the age of 40, despite having only one fallopian tube.

In a podcast interview, Mogaji recounted how she underwent surgery to remove one of her fallopian tubes due to an ectopic pregnancy. Despite this medical challenge, she was able to naturally conceive and give birth to her only child just six weeks after turning 40 years old.

Mogaji revealed that she had initially planned to adopt a child if she didn't have one by the time she reached 40. However, shortly before her 40th birthday, she met her partner Jibola, and they welcomed their son through natural birth.

The actress shared the harrowing details of the ectopic pregnancy, which required a lengthy and risky surgery that left her colleagues in tears, as the doctors were unsure if she would survive. Fortunately, Mogaji persevered and is now living a full life with her child, despite having only one fallopian tube.
