Rema Earns Massive $3 Million Payday for Performing at Ambani Wedding

Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema has reportedly been paid a staggering $3 million to perform at the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani, son of India's richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.
The four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai, which began on July 12th, has attracted a host of global celebrities and dignitaries, including the likes of Kim Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, and former US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Rema, known for his hit song "Calm Down," is said to be the highest-paid performer at the event, earning a massive $3 million fee for his appearance.  This dwarfs the reported $10 million paid to Canadian singer Justin Bieber for his performance at the wedding.
Pop icon Rihanna also graced the stage at the Ambani wedding, though the details of her performance fee have not been disclosed.
The lavish wedding celebrations mark the culmination of a series of events hosted by the Ambani family since March, underscoring the immense wealth and influence of India's business elite.
Rema's lucrative payday at the Ambani wedding further cements his status as one of the biggest Afrobeats stars on the global stage, commanding top-dollar fees for his performances.
