Police Confirm Murder and Beheading of Two Suspected Cultists in Akwa Ibom



The Akwa Ibom State Police have confirmed the murder and beheading of two suspected cultists in a violent clash between rival groups. The incident occurred in the Eket Local Government Area, involving members of the Black Axe Confraternity and Klansmen Confraternity. 


Police spokesperson MacDon Odiko reported that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the killings. He assured the public that normalcy has been restored in the area and emphasized the commitment to apprehend all involved in these violent acts. Investigations are ongoing as authorities seek to bring the perpetrators to justice.
