Nnamdi Kanu Requests Case Transfer to Southeast Amid Judicial Concerns
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has petitioned the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court to transfer his case from Abuja to the Southeast region.
This request comes after Justice Binta Nyako recused herself from the case due to Kanu's lack of confidence in her impartiality.
Kanu's legal team argues that if no judge in Abuja is willing to preside over the trial, the case should be moved to a Southeastern city like Umuahia, Awka, Enugu, or Asaba.
The move aims to ensure a fair trial and address ongoing judicial concerns surrounding Kanu's detention and charges of terrorism and treason
