Chelsea Women Celebrate Women’s League Cup Triumph

 

Chelsea Women celebrated in style after defeating Manchester United Women 2–0 to retain the FA Women's League Cup title.

Goals from Lauren James and Aggie Beever-Jones secured victory for the Blues in front of a large crowd at Ashton Gate. James opened the scoring in the first half after capitalising on a defensive mistake, while Beever-Jones sealed the win late in the game.

After the final whistle, the Chelsea players gathered on the podium as captain Millie Bright and her teammates lifted the trophy amid cheers from supporters. Blue and gold confetti filled the air as the squad celebrated another major piece of silverware.

The victory marks another League Cup success for Chelsea, highlighting their dominance in English women’s football and giving them the first trophy of the season as they continue their push for more honours.
