Igli Tare: “If Luka Modrić Wants to Stay, the Contract Is Ready”

 

Igli Tare has revealed that Luka Modrić already has a contract in place if he decides to remain at AC Milan.

Speaking about the Croatian midfielder’s future, Tare insisted that the decision is now entirely up to the player. According to him, the club has done its part and is ready to keep the veteran playmaker.

“If Modrić wants to stay, the contract is already in place and he loves Milan,” Tare said.

Tare also dismissed speculation linking the club with a move for Moise Kean, stressing that the timing is not right to discuss potential transfers.

“There’s no point talking about Kean now.”

The Milan executive further addressed the Serie A title race, playing down suggestions that the competition for the championship has reopened.

“The title race isn’t back on,” he added.

The comments suggest Milan’s focus remains on finishing the season strongly while maintaining stability around key players such as Modrić. ⚽
