Delta Deputy Governor Criticizes APC's Empty 'Change' Promises

Delta State Deputy Governor, Kingsley Otuaro, has lambasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) for deceiving Nigerians with its "change" mantra during the 2015 and 2019 elections. Otuaro, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accused the ruling party of failing to deliver on its campaign promises and leaving the country in a worse state than it found it.

The deputy governor argued that Nigerians were misled by the APC's empty rhetoric and flashy slogans, falling victim to the party's "razzmatazz." He criticized the APC for its inability to address the country's pressing issues, including insecurity, economic stagnation, and high unemployment rates.

Otuaro's scathing remarks come as the APC government, led by President Bola Tinubu, faces mounting criticism over its handling of the nation's affairs. The PDP and other opposition parties have accused the ruling party of perpetuating corruption, mismanagement, and failed policies.

The deputy governor's statement reflects the growing disillusionment among Nigerians who had placed their hopes in the APC's promise of change, only to be left disappointed by the party's performance in office. As the country grapples with various challenges, the APC government faces increasing pressure to deliver on its promises and restore the confidence of the Nigerian people.
