2026 UTME: JAMB Dismisses Claims of Increase in Registration Fees

 

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has refuted reports suggesting an increase in registration fees for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The Board described the claims as false and misleading, assuring prospective candidates and the public that the cost of registration remains unchanged. JAMB urged applicants to rely on official communication channels for accurate information.

It also warned candidates against misinformation circulating on social media, noting that any changes to examination fees or procedures would be formally announced.

JAMB reiterated its commitment to transparency and advised candidates to report individuals or platforms spreading unverified information.
